We put in the hard yards

This journey started over 10 years ago when we first met working in the same team in one of the Big Four. Overtime, we became friends more than colleagues. We found that we shared many of the same values and ideas about how a business should be run. We saw a lo t of the talk, but not the walk. A lot of form without substance. We also saw the trade-offs business made to make money be it in health, family time or quality of delivery and believe that it can be done better.

Subsequently, we each followed different paths from working for niche Defence sector firms, working in SES positions in government and free-lance consulting. Unlike leaders of other firms, we have each experienced working on ‘both sides of the fence’ so to speak and have a more intimate understanding of not only the needs of our clients but skills and mindset to do the hard work rather than just advising on the hard work that needs to be done.

We all have put in the hard yards together. We’ve shared highs and lows. We know what our best and worst looks like. We’ve celebrated the wins and supported each other in our respective failures. We are each tested, proven and capable hard workers in our own right. In the good times, we built experience. In the hard times, we built trust.

We want richness in health, wealth, and connection. We believe we can explore different approaches generating outcomes and so with humility and objectivity that encourage lateral and bold thinking. We want to move away from transactional contracts and rather work on things that will leave a legacy.
